This section of the book begins with Eliezer getting separated from his mother and sisters. As he watches them go he holds onto his father to make sure that they are not split apart. A prisoner approaches Eliezer and his father to tell them to lie about their ages. Eliezer says that he is 18, and his dad says that he is 40.
The Jews are ten forced to march past Dr.Mengele so he can p;ck the ones that would live, and the ones that would die. Eliezer and his father survive this test only to be told that they were going to die in the crematory. As they make the slow walk towards the flames Eliezer feels angered at God for letting this happen to them. As the walk continues a truck pulls up to a flaming pit and babies are thrown into the pit of fire. At the last second the line turns and the Jews are saved from the flames, but they look over the pit and see the faces of the burning babies.
By tis point in the story Elizer has lost faith in God and huananity for the horrors that he has indured. An example of his lack in humanity is when his father is getting beaten by the Nazis, Eliezer does nothing to try and help him. Eliezer says that he did not help him for he has lost faith, and if he had gotten beaten a day sooner he would have helped.

This post was a little short, and not developed enough. you probably could include a couple quotes or more detail to make it longer. overall i was not impressed with this post what-so-ever.
This post was pretty good. I think that there was a lot more that you could include from the section and there were a lot of typos in it. But overall, good description.
I liked your post, it was a little short but good.
I like how you showed Eliezer's emotions as well as the facts of the chapter. You also paid attention to detail. Great job.
